When you meet Savannah Stern in person there’s an earnestness you recognize right off the bat. Yet, there’s a delicateness behind her beaming smirk. The combination makes her quite enchanting. However, I wouldn’t test her if I were you, because you may not be able to handle what the girl can dish out. Savannah chops it up with YUHMM to set the record straight about what car she’s actually driving and why Sunny Leone and Jenna Haze would be the perfect slices in a Savannah Stern sandwich.

The LA Times recently wrote an article about the financial hardships adult entertainers have experienced this past year. The article read like you’re ass is broke. Care to set the record straight.

The LA Times had asked me if I wanted to answer some questions about an issue they were covering. I was not informed that the whole article was going to be based on me. With that said, I made sure I was very clear and careful about topics of discussion. In short, I had told the reporter that if I wanted to save myself 1200 every month, my parents had offered their brand new Trail Blazer because it was paid off. In turn, my whole name got smashed by the words he chose to use. No I am not broke! I STILL HAVE MY CLK 350 and Ben Fritz from the LA Times can kiss my ass!

That’s a pretty solid offer from your folks. Does that mean they’re supportive of your career in some sense?

My parents are not supportive of their daughter getting fucked all crazy on screen for everyone in the whole world to see. Not sure many parents would be too proud. But, I have great parents who care about my well-being and my potential to be something greater. I have made steps while in the industry to be as safe and healthy as possible while working and I take full care of myself, so I get a lot of respect from them for being such a strong and business minded person. Of course, they’d rather have me doing something else.

How does an adult performer break the news to their family that they’ve entered the business?

My ex-boyfriend decided when I broke up with him that he was going to break the news before I could. It was so devastating to see and hear how my parents reacted to their baby doing porn. It was heart wrenching and has taken a long time for us to get past that point. There are still deep wounds that need to be healed which will come with time, but it’s not something you just say “ok” and forget.

Take us back to the moment when you knew this was the profession that you wanted to pursue.

I never really “knew” this is what I wanted to do. I was out of college and hated living in the rainy state of Oregon. A boyfriend at the time wanted to start a production company so we decided to move to San Diego and start our own company. That never worked out, but once I got a taste of the lifestyle of the industry, I couldn’t refuse.

What other jobs did you have in the past?

I used to work on construction sites; I have been a waitress; I have worked at movie theaters; I was a swim instructor and my favorite job was working at Starbucks!

I’m sure some of those construction workers are big fans. Were there certain porn stars that influenced your career both as a performer and businessperson?

I never really watched porn or got into it until I got into the business. I do respect Jenna Jameson a lot for being the crossover star that she is now and being business savvy like she is.

Many porn stars have told us that they have a relatively normal sex life outside of the business. Something tells us that this doesn’t apply to you.

What is normal? (LOL) My sex life is somewhat normal. I do have a lot of sex outside the industry, but I’m not fucking in parks or on top of roofs if that’s what you mean :)

Several adult entertainers come to LA for work, but choose to live in other states. You live and play here in LA. What attracts you to the LA lifestyle?

I did like LA for a while but all the other issues such as traffic, high cost of living, and taxes… it’s just beginning to be way too much for me. I’m looking at moving to Vegas or Arizona to save money and I would actually be able to own a home. I like LA, but there is too much hassle that comes with living here. Doesn’t seem worth it when I can work anywhere or fly into LA and live out of state.

Celebrity crushes?

Hmmmm… I love Reggie Bush!

We’ll make sure to tell Kim Kardashian. That would be a pay-per-view catfight. Are there any adult stars that you’d like to work with that you haven’t had a chance to work with yet?

I would love to work with Sunny Leone and Jenna Haze.
