Beauty, brains and blonde hair are qualities not normally used to describe a porn star, but don’t tell that to the gorgeous AJ Bailey. Not only is the newest adult star of Vivid Entertainment smoking hot, she also has her Masters Degree in Anthropology. We give AJ our own quiz on life, love, and the Stimulus Plan.

You must really be a dork to have majored in anthropology. What’s your story?

(Laughs) I was one of those dorky kids growing up who would rather go to museums than water parks. I was always really into culture. There were great museums in St Louis where I grew up and some Native American sites, so I grew up around all of that and I suppose it had quite an impact.

Wait, we just realized Indiana Jones was an archeologist - not an anthropologist. Doesn’t matter, you still should have been in the movie. Now, you dropped out of high school in your teens. Most dropouts don’t seem to find their way back to school and pursue a Masters Degree. What was different for you?

I was running with the wrong crowd after I left and I got a pretty good idea of what I would become if I didn’t go back to school, and that scared me straight. I was always good in school, and I continued to be after I went back. Pursuing a Masters degree just seemed the natural path to take.

You received your Masters Degree at St. Andrews University, the same school attended by Prince William only a year earlier. Let’s say the two of you were there at the same time. You catch him peeking over your shoulder during an anthropology exam. Do you let him cheat and at what price would he have to pay?

I don’t advocate cheating, but I would be lying if I said I never helped out a hot guy here and those who needed it…

Let’s say Prince William wants to thank you for letting him cheat off of you and asks you to have dinner with the Royal family. What would you say to Queen Elizabeth upon meeting her?

I would tell her to never google “AJ Bailey”.

That’s funny. We see you have a sense of humor. We obviously know that you’re smart. Care to share a “blonde” moment or two?

I have them all the time. For as book smart as I am, sometimes my common sense is lacking. I forget things a lot, or use the wrong word for something and it makes me look like a major dumbass. Unfortunately I’m smart enough to realize my mistake immediately, so I feel even more ridiculous.

You turned to the adult industry as a way to adapt to the bad economic times. What’s something you would propose to the President to stimulate the economy?

I have a lot of faith in our President, and I am already happy that he is showing interest in reinvigorating the Arts. I am not an economist, but I think we are on the right track.

Wow. You answered that like you’re in the finals for Miss America. Let’s go back for a second. Tell us how you got started as a model in the adult entertainment industry.

I frequented a girl/girl website, and I was preparing for grad school and looking for ways to make some extra money. They had an advertisement for models so I contacted them. I loved it and pursued it until I went away to school.

When you made the decision to join Vivid and enter the boy/girl arena, what was going through your mind and what finally motivated you to do it?

I was just in a place personally where I wanted to do boy/girl. I felt I had sort of run my course with girl/girl work and wanted something new. I always liked working in the adult industry, and my work before was more of a means to an end. This time I wanted to go all in.

Tell us about your experience shooting your first movie with director B. Skow.

I had worked with him before on a photo shoot a few years ago, but I remembered him. He’s extremely cool. He makes the model feel extremely sexy, and his set is really fun. He doesn’t trouble himself with all the minutiae and just sort of lets things flow. I am sure this is why his movies are so fucking good. You forget he’s there while you film, and when he photographs you, you feel like a million bucks.

Did you just use minutiae in that answer? We’re so fucking impressed. What type of goals have you set for yourself in this industry?

World domination mostly. Kidding. I just want to have a great time. I have worked a lot of shitty jobs 65 hours a week and I really appreciate what an amazing and fun job I have. As long as I’m happy and living the rockstar lifestyle then my goals are reached. I want to be a porn star for the fans though. I never want a huge ego or forget who is out there making me who I am.

Are there adult entertainers that you’re looking forward to working with and why?

I don’t really think about it actually. I find that everyone in this industry is great. The thought of working with someone with a big name makes me a bit nervous really. However, I worked with Evan Stone on my first film and he was an absolute doll. Loved it!

How has your world changed after becoming a Vivid contract girl?

I’m still relatively new. I think I’ll have a better idea when my first film comes out. I’m really honored to be in such amazing company with such amazing performers. I feel super glamorous these days, and that’s a great way to live!

Are you finding personal dating more difficult now that you’re a pornstar?

Nope! I have never been much of a relationship girl anyway. I like to keep my options open. I don’t want to be serious with anyone, especially while I’m doing porn… like I said before, I’m all about the rockstar lifestyle at the moment.

We’ve read that you can hold your own as a chef in the kitchen. Name a few of your sexiest dishes?

Well, I don’t know if sexy is the word for my favorites, but they are delicious. I like my food spicy! I make a really great Shrimp Creole. I am also a fan of international food. I can make a mean Curry. I love cooking for a date. I think the whole experience is sexy.

Name three things that a guy/girl can do to get your attention.

Be confident. Have intelligence and sharp wit. Ignore me…I love a good chase!

Many pornstars say the wildest sex they have is usually on set. How about you?

My sex is always wild. It really is. Actually I’m not allowed to get choked or my hair pulled too hard on set, so it’s wilder in my personal life, definitely.
