Another interesting find comes to us in our inbox that features the work of El Norbi from Argentina. Bio supplied by the photographer himself.

The Argentine has already lived several lives.  After starting as a journalist, Norberto Baruch B. also was responsible for advertising campaigns for Coca Cola in Argentina, only to reinvent himself as a designer and photographer of nudes.

He later came to work for the journal “El Porteño” which was characterized by its independence, its vanguard, and their progressive and libertarian political positions.  He started writing about the “disappeared” (Note: political opponents during the dictatorship removed before the election of Raúl Alfonsín) and the theft of babies. Then, he worked for another political magazine “Humor” where his journalistic investigations are published in a book called “The face of the civilian coup d’état.”

He later became the publisher of the newspaper advertising supplement “Pagina/12.  Now, the reporter turns to a new profession on earth: the art director for advertising agency McCann-Erickson. Here begins the creative aesthetic appeal to find a special bottle for  Coca-Cola.  It was like starting to see a naked woman very special, breathable, with well formed curves. All this was well put on his trading pattern which became the world’s global launch of a liter bottle.

There arises the need to show the nakedness of Latino women. It matters little if you think something is vulgar or is elegant. This discussion does not matter eternally, and never will end. He believes that the important thing is to show how you feel when photographs a woman.  His productions always respond to a visual concept, where the meat is the story to tell another story.
